WOULD YOU LIKE US TO CONSIDER PUBLISHING YOUR BOOK?

Proverse considers for publication a steadily-increasing number of works each year.

No unsolicited manuscripts please. We regret that we cannot return unsolicited or solicited manuscripts received.

Please keep a copy of any work that you mail to us.

BEFORE YOU WRITE TO US
Please browse and study our website carefully to decide whether what we do matches what you would like to do.
Please look at as many books published by Proverse Hong Kong as possible, to see whether your book seems likely to be something we would be interested in.
If possible, please attend one or more Proverse event to become familiar with us, our authors and our books.

INITIAL ENQUIRY
Please send an initial enquiry by mail or by email. In this, please describe, briefly, why you are approaching Proverse Hong Kong, and what the nature of your proposed book is. -- Is it a novel, a poetry-collection, a study of a topic in current affairs? Or? -- Tell us what your aspirations are for this book. What readers are you reaching out to? Has any of it been published before in any form or format? Give details if the answer is yes. Tell us about your previous writing experience if any. How many words long is your book? Would you enjoy meeting readers after your book is published?

Include your first chapter, your planned or actual outline for the whole book and a chapter half-way through the book (if you have already got that far).

If possible, present your sample chapter(s) word-processed or typed, double-spaced and on one side of A4-size paper.

PROPOSAL FORM
We will consider your initial enquiry and sample. After this, we may ask you to complete our Proposal Form which you can download from the Proverse website.

SUBMISSION OF COMPLETE WORK
We will consider your completed and signed Proposal Form. After this, we may ask you to submit your complete work for us to consider.
